Mail In Skate Sharpening & Repair

We understand not everyone lives close enough to visit our store. So we are now offering our professional skate sharpening and maintenance services on a mail in service.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1: FILL IN FORM

Complete the Skate Sharpening & Repair Form. Download a copy HERE.

No Printer? No problem. Please write all the information (as per the skate sharpening & repair form) on a piece of paper and include it with the parcel. Please ensure all parts are completed.

STEP 2: PACKAGE

Please include all skates and components as listed on the completed 'Skate Sharpening & Repair Form'. Dont forget to include the completed form in the package to avoid any delays in processing.

Please ensure suitable packaging is used to package you parcel for its journey to us.

STEP 3: SEND

Generate a shipping label HERE using our Royal Mail Tracked Returns Service.

Use order number "00000' and select 'Skate sharpening + repair service' as the reason for return.

* Please note an additional £7.50 charge will apply for our mail in service. This includes return postage. Standard fees for Skate Sharpening & Repair Services apply.

HOW LONG DOES THE MAIL IN SERVICE TAKE?

Most services are done within 48 hours (once received by our goods in team). Some services take longer and a member of our team can better advise upon receiving the skates. If you require a more accurate timescale prior to shipping in skates for sharpening or repair please contact a member of our team.

HOW MUCH DOES THE MAIL IN SERVICE COST?

A £7.50 charge for the mail in service applies. This charge covers the shipping in to our warehouse and the return shipping back to you. This charge is in addition to the skate sharpening and repair fees as further detailed below.

HOW MUCH DO THE SKATE SHARPENING AND REPAIR SERVICES COST?

Standard Skate Sharpening £7.50. Flat Bottom V (FBV) Sharpening £8.50. Ice Skate Profiling £25. Eyelet / Rivet Repair £3 per eyelet / rivet. Holder Fitting/ / Replacement £15 per holder. Skate Conversion £45. Skate Baking (Not available on mail in service).

HOW DO I PAY FOR THIS SERVICE?

You can choose which payment method is best for you on the 'Skate Sharpening & Repair Form' from 'Payment Link via Email', 'Call to make payment' or 'Invoice (Payment via BACS)'. Upon receipt of the skates we will confirm the cost in accordance with our price list and arrange payment as per your request. Please note, we will not begin works until payment has been collected.
